Was watching the game from my phone while being one of the 37 fans at the Marlins game tonight. Had comped tickets five rows behind home... Was kinda fun environment honestly... Seems like they should do a little better in the way of fan support/attendance. First time I've heard an announcer call a game a pyrrhic victory (at least in recent memory). Yelich fouled a ball off of himself and left the game.

in the grand scheme of things, this game means jack shite, but it was still incredibly frustrating.
Fried bounces back from that disastrous first inning and really should have probably gotten through the 5th with only the 4 first inning runs allowed. yeah, technically kingery hit the ball over the fence, but still...if Acuna simply gets the ball and throws it back in, then they get out of the inning with no runs scored.
Then you have Albies getting thrown out at 3rd. Then you have Acuna getting caught stealing with Albies at the plate. Riley hit a bomb with the bases loaded that Kingery made a good play on.
Just seemed like one of those games where too many things went wrong and likely should have been a win. Oh well.
