Amazingly enough, LSU has won only one SEC tournament, that one occurring in 1980.
Since then, Auburn has won two (1985, 2019).
Also since 1980, the year LSU won their one and only SEC tournament, Auburn has won 7 SEC football championships and LSU has won 6.

LSU had to win one more game than UT and UK to win the SEC reg. season and your destiny is not always in your hands (and you can thank AU for that)
But in the tourney, you have to win 3 or 4 games in a row and your fate is completely in your own hands. Thats the difference.
