I'll give you a serious answer.

Why it's not talked about as much on tRant as UT-A&M:
1. This is obviously a football dominated board.
2. A&M has a much larger presence and is much more relevant on this board.
3. LSU loves to troll A&M and brings it up a lot.

Outside of tRant:

There were heated debates for 5+ years about playing each other. They honestly seemed to die down a year or two ago for whatever reason. I guess enough time has passed. K-State has been much better in basketball this decade and that has helped turn KU's attention west. Mizzou has been focused on fitting in with the SEC (something A&M was already able to do naturally) which turned their attention southeast. Couple those things with the state of each universities athletic programs (KU football, Mizzou basketball) and here we are.

With that said, the hatred is still there on both sides. Games don't need to be played for that to maintain for many years to come.

and this explains the A&M and UT dynamic as well. I guess it just comes from a different place which leads to a different dynamic in the overall discussion
