Auburn football has been to the national title game twice in the last ten years.
Alabama basketball hasn't won the SEC since 2002 and has never been to a Final Four.
Bad comparison.

It's a good comparison.
He's literally saying Alabama basketball is like all the BAD seasons of Auburn football - or basically like AU football without the good seasons.
