Headed down about 4:00 with 2 of my granddaughters and the wife. Gonna kick some nerd arse...
Gonna hit Steamhouse Lounge for dinner and drinks afterward.

My work schedule prevents me from going to stuff like this, but I would if I could. My niece is actually a pretty good softball player here in Georgia so I follow college softball pretty closely. Actually a really fun and fast game to watch

I coach 12U softball out here in CA...It's my daughter's only sport. I never thought I would watch it but I agree...it's a lot of fun. Much more interesting than game 85 in August when your team is 15 games out of the playoff picture. Plus the kids are down to earth...Met Rachel Garcia of UCLA - Nat'l Player of the Year for 2018 at a tournament last weekend. Super friendly to our girls...asking about their game, positions and goals. Felt the way sports used to feel when it wasn't all about fame and fortune...but these girls are talented and tough as nails.
