I don't disagree with you. I was almost completely oblivious to what was going on, until it was already happening.

We were lollygagging around after church....I was woefully unprepared for there to have been deadly tornadoes 10 miles south of my house. I wasn't watching the weather, I casually checked earlier in the day just to see if I might have time to cut grass before the rain got here. Never heard a siren, which I think is how they've got them linked up now...to not sound throughout the entire county, only in the affected areas.
We were very fortunate, while a lot of folks in Beauregard were not.
