It has everything to do with wins/loses and we all know it. AU's schedule has been brutal. Their HC is averaging 5 losses a year and he's pulling a salary too high for AU to accept forking out that kind of cash. Their people want better, and now they have an AD that with some balls that will fight for his program and try to gain any advantage he thinks they need to get better results.

I couldn't care less about a lot of football traditions that people revere, but this is different. UGA Auburn is played late in the year when it matters most.

Should we allow their AD to upend nearly a century of tradition because lately they can't make personnel decisions?

The answer is No.
