There is actually no reason to think he is a great coach. Zero SECCG appearances. One 3 loss season does not make a great coach. Hell, didn't Muschamp do that at Florida and South Carolina?

I agree, Kirby sucks. His best season isn't any different than Muschamp's 2nd year, except he had a playoff format and Champ didn't.
2012 Playoff would have been #2 Notre Dame vs #3 Florida, then UF vs Bama for the chip.
