It's all about big cities here. Texas has the obvious ones, Georgia has Atlanta, Florida has Tampa and Miami, etc.


And KC which is actually larger in population than St Louis.

(Well in terms of just the two cities not sure about metro areas)

Metro wise, KC is larger than STL...and that's due to the great divorce between the city and county in 1876. Obviously STL would be larger IF the Better Together plan goes through.

St Louis has more people than KC, but we are bigger in land mass. KC is a sprawled out city with lots of suburbs.

St. Louis city has 300k population. The metro area is like 2.8M. KC’s population in the MSA is like 2.3M.
