Not it didn't, there's special cases like that every time, for instance PSU after pedo-gate.

The recent rash of approved transfers outside of that had nothing to do with Ole Miss.

There are always special cases no doubt. But, it just seems like the acceptance of players transferring without sitting out a year has happened more & more after Patterson & Co. left Ole Miss with their waivers.
