The loss of scholarships was for the 2019/2020 class only. The team can go back to full strength 2020/2021 class. The scholarships dont hurt that bad, what would have hurt was the visit and contact restrictions. But luckily the appeal softened that blow. I don't have 100% confirmation, but I've been told that the contact/visit restrictions will really hamper Drink after early signing day. So when Drink tells us in 2 years that this is a rebuild, believe him. He may be a year behind in talent development.

This is what happened when you hired a new head coach. No matter who it is or which school it is it is almost likely all of them will have a not so good recruiting class as it would have been better. Give him time. If Mizzou plays well in his first year and you shall see a huge improvement in recruiting class.

I think the NCAA ban works in Drinks favor. The 1st year is a gimmee no one will hold against him.
