Trying to trash talk Bama fans for baseball...really? 99% of students at Bama can't name one single player on the team (including me when I was there) and still wouldn't even if they were #1.

Baseball is a niche sport that draws about as many fans as gymnastics meets.
Nobody cares.
And Bama has more all time wins and still has a head to head winning record vs LSU in baseball.

By 36 games. That's just sad that even in their Niche sport that they continually talk trash about Bama's program they are that far behind head to head. It's like that in all mens sports. Ownership

I don't think I can remember a single baseball player from my 4 years at Alabama and I only graduated in 2010. Can't name anyone on the current team either.

Niche sports are ones followed by a very specific group of people or type of fans that do not pull a large interest from potential viewing audiences elsewhere or from outside targeted demographics - either in person or on television.
MMA, gymnastics, equestrian, swimming & diving, college baseball, women's basketball, etc...

I think comparing equestrian, women’s basketball, swimming and driving, etc. to college baseball is not a good comparison. Maybe not as big of a following as CBB or CFB, but it’s 1 of the three major college sports.

College hockey has just as big of a following up north as college baseball does in the south.
