I was listening to local radio here in Arkansas. Clint stoerner came on and explained the ole miss scheme.
Ole miss had 27 plays by his count. They ran 3 to 1 side, and one out wide. The 2 inside recievers ran combo routes. Like an in, with an inside out route. Basically a levels. In fact that very play was run against arkansas 12 times. The 2 outside recievers ran what he called stand alone routes. They had no purpose other than go's and bullshite incase it was 1v1 outside.
It sounds like it would work, but god is it simple. Pretty much the main throw is a combo route meant to pick on 1 player, and if there is 1v1 on the outside you throw the go.
Honestly the "get open" thing doesnt suprise me, and just tells me how street ball stupid that OC was.

I don't understand it. Program holding on due to sheer love for OM and in walks that beautiful man Mack Brown to relieve us of the savant that is Longo. He allowed us to reboot along with the McGriff firing and he asks nothing in return.

That's ridiculous, but if done in the right manner (juicing) it's a very smart business decision.
