Except changing over to the high octane offense has not helped our D one bit. The quicker we score the more our D is on the field.

The breakdowns we have had on defense lately have nothing to do with our offense. Our penalties extending drives and missed assignments have nothing to do with our offense.

Agreed. I have never bought in to the “good offense , can’t have a good defense “ theory . If the offense scores quickly ( which doesn’t ALWAYS happen)it may put the defense out there a couple minutes earlier but the defense can always GET ITSELF off the damn field . Hold em for 3 plays and rest . With tv timeouts and crap they should be rested enough or you need more depth

Keep telling yourself that. There's a reason we get pushed around now on defense and tackle like a sorority powder puff team.

This "you can't win with a pro style offense" gibberish is just that. Georgia wasn't bad on offense this year because of scheme. They just weren't good enough talentwise on the outside.
