Came across this on Twitter. Doesn’t cover all SEC teams, but a good chunk of the top ranked ones.

For the first time in history Texas and Texas a&m can finish in the top 5 in recruiting at the same time. No other state can claim they had two teams finish in the top 5 not even Florida or Cali. Good times ahead for both programs. But still Texas > Texas a&m.

I tend to think is true ...
Because the two A&M players that Texas really wanted.
Leal and Cupp jumped.
Cupp was a three star TE this time last year
Leal was no where close to the Top 50.

I assume that includes impact of new commits and decommits since the ESP. Texas added Bru McCoy, their highest ranked commit. Bama added commit Khris Bogle (pehaps after that graph was created).

Sure about that?
2012 Rankings:
1. Alabama
2. t.u. (

3. Florida
4. Florida State
5. Ohio State

Leal was 30th in the composite before the bump. 247 was the ONLY service that didn't have him as a 5-star.

Like what was said before...
You better hope this conspiracy is true.
Because y'all might be promoting the rope that hangs you
If this proves to be that Texas coaches are great evaluators that people in Austin need to thank aggy for spreading this info around the internet.

I am talking about last February

Charlie strong dismissed a quite a few of the 2012 class due to off field issues. So that really wasn't the # 2 class by the time the season started. I forgot Florida had a good class that year.

Look next to the school name. The number and the plus sign indicates the number of commits since the ESP. Note that Penn State had 2 additional players commit and went up a total of 4 points.
Bru McCoy added 8 points to their total, but that doesn't explain the additional 9.5 point bump.

Almost all of our highest rated commits dropped except for TQ Jackson. Hudson Henry went from the #1 ranked TE to #4 or #5 when he hasn't even played in a game since lol

Charlie strong dismissed most of the 2012 class due to off field issues.
Let's examine this.
Out of the 28 players signed in that class:
17 were on the 2015 roster
1 left early for the NFL draft
1 left to go JUCO
5 transferred due to playing time
1 was JUCO and used up his eligibility
3 TOTAL were dismissed for "misconduct"
3 out of 28 is just under 11%, not even close to the definition of "most".
Over half the 2012 class were part of the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

You are supposedly a Senior Military Officer
So you can wrap your head around the entire situation.
Especially because the truth will be proven on the field.
I don't think aggy understands what will happen if this is proven to be the truth and not some conspiracy.

Like I said, this isn't an isolated incident. It's just more obvious this year. As for Herman, he is always good for an upset or two, and a few WTF games. He actually lost BADLY to Morris when at UH, in the middle of his "good" run
It wasn't even close
And losing to Maryland twice, would probably qualify as well ...

Mack Brown was lazy.
Mack Brown created a sense of entitlement around UT.
Mack Brown is not Tom Herman
You cannot compare the two.
If Herman and his staff are better evaluators then once Texas can cherry pick it will be like if Butch Davis never left Miami in 2000.
