Looking Ahead to Texas Tech

Game will be won or lost in the turnover battle. If Arkansas can take care of the ball they will win the game. Texas Tech is not a good offensive team. In their loss to Kansas State they only managed 45 points.
I'll be interested to see how this one plays out. Chris Beard is a hot name around here, so it will be interesting to see what sort of excuses they come up with should Arkansas win this game.

Mr. Troll,
Kansas State is top the Big 12 standings because the slow it down, suffocating style defense they’ve played.
Arkansas under Mike Anderson only plays one style. Tech will enjoy playing our system and be prepared for it compared to what K-State does.
Tech plays tough defense so no it won’t be interesting how it plays out because Arkansas has a few decent to good players at four positions. Mike’s consistent swiss cheese roster once again lacks quality depth so we always have at least one weak link on the court and sometimes three or four trying to score.
Your question should be if the wildly inconsistent bench will show a pulse.
What excuse will you use should (when) Arkansas lose this game?

It wasn't just the Kansas State game, though. They're not even a top 50 offensive ball club. Most analytics have them missing the top ONE HUNDRED.
As I said, the game will be won or lost in the turnover battle. I don't know why that makes me a "troll." Texas Tech plays good defense, but they barely score 60 per game. If Arkansas can take care of the ball (tall order most likely), they should win the game.

Problem is they also have the best or one of the best defenses in turns of opponent fg%. We are going to have to not only protect the ball but also work the ball around and make the open looks we do get behind the arc. Really going to have to be our best game played to win.

Mediocre Mike will be out coached.

This is true too. I hope to see them run the four guard lineup a lot that we saw the other night. It allows them to space the floor out WIDE. If Jalen Harris can knock down some perimeter shots Arkansas has a shot to look tough in the half court offense.
We will need to create offense with defense. Gabe Osabaouein will be a huge factor in this game if Arkansas is to win the game. Good news is with Texas Tech being so poor on offense, Arkansas has a chance to do exactly that -- create offense with defense.
Mostly I wanna see Mason Jones and Reggie Chaney make their wide open layups that both of them get like 10 times per game.

We will shoot about 25% from the field and 30% from the line.
Will be a predictable shite pumping.
