In fairness (And I don't want to get in the middle of y'alls argument on this) he was refuting the other posters claim that the 2010 team had a solid defense. 53rd is not really solid. If 53rd is correct, I am surprised, actually. It seemed better to me.
I guess it would come down to the definition of "solid"?
My thought would probably be top 1/3 in the nation.

Looked pretty damn solid when they completely shut down Oregon in the NC game.

You cant really judge a on one single stat only. there are many facets to a game
