as previously noted, Tua was making all the reads and check downs earlier in the season. Gary Danielson raved about it every game. So if he could do it then, naturally he didn't just forger how to do it.

Again you aren't understanding what we are talking about.

He is making the same reads. PRE-SNAP.

He isn't consistently making reads after he snaps. What MSU exposed is that if they shift their coverage after he snaps the ball it easily confuses Tua because he relies so heavily on his abilities and his pre-snap read of the oppositions coverage.

Pretty sure that earlier you said he never does and may not get better. Now you've changed that to he isn't consistently doing it. I'm not inclined enough to search back, but you're coming around. He can make the reads after the snap, and he was doing it early in the season. The guy had 43 tds and only 6 interceptions all season long. Maybe you expected perfection from a kid in his first season to start, and half those games he was on the bench by halftime.

You keep bringing up the fact you played college ball. Perhaps you should advise us who you are so we can properly appreciate your knowledge.

A good discussion of how it happened and Tua pre-snap reads vs late D shift.
