Right to point what out, a lie. No one has bitched about Mike recruiting jucos. In fact, he should have had a couple more in the 2018 class, rather than have a huge class of freshmen. 4 years from now (unless more transfers happen) he’s going to have “his youngest team” again.

Agreed for the most part. Nothing wrong with recruiting JUCOs but if you don't want to have rebuilding years and are not bringing in top classes, it forces you to recruit more JUCOs.

Not sure when I saw posters call Mike out for recruiting JUCOs. I have seen them criticize his roster management which doesn't mean you can't recruit JUCOs. A really good example of this is Mason Jones, we need more players like that who are ready to play and adjust much more quickly than freshman. Not saying it is easy but it is a fair criticism of Mike.

I'm not going to the trouble of going two years into the archives to pull quotes because I don't have a problem with him recruiting jucos.

What I mean by saying I was disappointed that our last team was led by jucos was simply that the team could have been better than they were with a couple things being different. That the juco guys aren't as "experienced" as they may have seemed. Two seniors, but in terms of experience on our basketball team, were more like underclassmen. And it showed at times.

Plus, anyone here that's being honest with themselves know damn well Mike has been heavily criticized for these things. To this very day.

"We lost two guys early to the NBA? Tough shite. It's his job to manage the roster." The implication here is clear. He's to blame for Qualls and Portis leaving and he's also to blame for the step backwards we took the following year. With the team led by the juco players.
