Look at all those Gamecocks cheering in the background in 1994 during Tommy West's first season. And that clip is at the complete opposite side of where they put us back then. Clemson couldn't put 40k in the seats back then during the fan boycott of Hatfeed. The fact remains, if Clemson had our history, they'd have no fans.

The next round of conference disruption will be the merger of 2 conferences. I think the ACC is in a good spot to pick between the Big 10 or the SEC.

You are damn right. Why would pay to watch the type of product UofSC has put on the field for decades? That's why Clemson's program has 3 National Titles and South Carolina did win it's first bowl game until ironically 1994....

I agree with you. I've been labeled a turncoat because I refuse to give a dime to the university or attend a game until Tanner is fired and we get somebody with a brain in the AD's office.
I don't know where you're from in SC, but if you ever want a good laugh, attend a Gamecock Club function down here in Horry County. It's the same brown-nosing rich boosters and BOT folks lobbing softballs at the coaches and AD, all the while slapping each other on the back over several liquor drinks. Makes me sick to my stomach. My dad, brother and I quit going long ago. They care about influence peddling, not winning.

I have no problem with your stance. Sure, watch the games on TV, give them all of the moral support but you don't have to shell out your hard earned money if you aren't happy...They get plenty of money!...I personally think empty stands are a much better attention-getter because the optics are horrible and the recruits see that.

It's difficult to coordinate but I agree. It forces the story forward.

FSU did it near the end of Bobby Bowden's run..It was rough to look at a 60% filled stadium from a fan base that was supposed to be solid.
If people can get on social media as have white outs, blackouts they can certainly have sit-outs..
