is this the thread where we tell of our stories that made us realize we werent nearly as good as we thought we were at any one thing?

my freshman year i was balling at the rec. now i am/was in no means your best player on a team, but i wont be your worst. i had a decent first game and we won and i was kinda feeling myself a bit. next team came in and it was these black dudes that were built like greek gods. i knew we were fricked. im the tallest one on the team so im taking the jump, didnt even come close to touching the ball. then, immediately with that first possession, i get just completely sonned with an alleyoop. it was.....enlightening
