You are joking, right? All of the other regions are in a "basketball season frame of mind" for two reason: 1. It's basketball season and conference play just started!! 2. Because their teams aren't playing the NCG. People will still watch this game. It's funny that you say Saban is killing football but you didn't mention any of the other teams. There have been 52 individual teams in the BCS or CFP since 1998, but only 19 different schools. Top 5 participants in the BCS or CFP(wins) - Alabama 8(5), Oklahoma 7(1), Florida St 5(2), Ohio St. 5(2), Clemson 4(1). Saban just makes the most of his opportunities when he gets there.

"Saban just makes the most of his opportunities when he gets there."

This is true. This is also the problem. It's not entertaining anymore to see the SAME team win every year no matter how much it thrills Alabama fans. The thrill is gone. And if Saban doesn't stop, it is going to destroy the college game itself. What he has created is a monster that cannot be dealt with. Okay, he did it. We were all impressed...................at first.

It's time to take your foot off of the gas pedal before folks think of Alabama as insane football power freaks willing to destroy everything just for one more national championship fix. Your team has won enough to last several generations of fans. How frickin many do you need to feel like somebody important? Put the program down. Step away from the stadium. Save your soul before it's too late.

Basketball? Didn't John Wooden destroy that back in the 1960s? I'm almost positive he did, and I'd bet anything the OP will back me up on this.
