our ol needs run block improvement

You are the second poster that has been critical of the run game. I'll ask you the same thing I asked him.

What game did you watch?

Bama backs rushed for 200 yards with a 5.9 yard per carry average. They had one run for no gain and ZERO tackles for loss. The only thing they didn't do was break a big run, but that can in no way be blamed on the Oline's run blocking. They owned the LOS all night.

Well, Alabama’s not had a great year at breaking long running plays. Extremely solid in getting 5-8 yard runs, but no ones broken out into a home run threat.

Lost in the mix: last night was Kylers worst qb rating performance, and also OU’s defense worst qb rated defense performance (for as bad as they’ve been, last night was their worst)

everything you said is obviously correct. now, tell me how many times our rb's were hit at the line of scrimmage and were able to break tackles for the yardage gained? when i say improvement is needed, i say that in terms of how gosh awful bad ou's run defense has been all year. yet bama only mustered 200 yards against them. with improved blocking we should have doubled that. you might not see it that way and thats fine. you're entitled to your opinion just like i am.

This. A thousand times - this.

There will always be a sub-group that partially or completely misreads a game, and it's usually the ones most ready to hit the 'submit' button on their complaints just as soon as the clock hits zeros.
