Well, it's certainly why we have such horrendous trade deficits with countries across the globe. But this isn't about politics. It's about Alabama not being as good as everyone thinks.
Think of all the people killed in the name of freedom since Alabama toppled Oklahoma last. The numbers are in the millions.
