What do you care? You didn't want him anyway. Why shouldn't Fields look after his own interests. You're aren't very bright. If he was your son, would you not care about his interests?

That will mean so much when he's working the 9 to 5 instead of the NFL. Ask DJ Shockley what riding the pine for three years will do to the chances of an NFL career. Who knows if he would have had a better career if he played three years, but he would have made more money, that's for certain.

The pros don't give a rats arse how many years you played in college. If you're good enough for them, they'll put you on the roster. If not, bye bye. Just ask 4 year starter Aaron Murray.

Well if he were my son I probably would have helped him find a place where he had actually had a shot to play in the near future.

A few things...

1. I'm not black, neither is my wife. We would have some shite to talk about if he was my son.

2. I would teach my son to honor his commitments. In this case, point out the fact that Mark Sanchez started at USC for one season and was drafted in the first round.

3. I'd make him cut his fricking hair.
