Of course.
Funny story about the Indian. My senior year, we opened against Sprayberry at home. About 1am that morning, a group of my friends took bedsheets and made a vest jersey with my # on the front and back(used spray paint) and my last name on the back. They took ladders and somehow climbed on the pedestal and used bricks to sling the ropes over the shoulders. They didn’t tell me.
My buddy and I were driving down New Macland rd and about to turn into school when I saw it. Of course, I was thinking “he’ll yeah!”
I got pulled out of first period and summoned to the principals office for an interrogation. They wanted to know if I had any part in it or if I knew who did it. At that time, I really didn’t know and didn’t find out until later in the day. The admins were upset because the grounds workers were going to have to be next to power lines to get the thing off. They waffles around all day trying to safely get it off.
They finally did get it off using a bucket truck while we were in pre game warmups. The crowd booed when they did. It is a fond memory.
