Central’s gotta get its act back together and T’ville also to a lesser extent. There are too many athletes there to be perennial one and done or two and done playoff teams.

Are you from down here, by chance?

TCC went in a new direction in 2018. They fired long time coach Bill Shaver, who replaced Ed Pilcher in 2008, and they have transitioned from running the split-back Veer to running the spread/read option as their base offense. After running that Veer for 27 years, it's gonna take some time, because they have no offensive linemen that can pass block effectively. Pilcher won 169 games and 5 titles at TCC. Shaver was mediocre and didn't win much of anything. Two region titles in 10 years, and often one or two rounds in the playoffs. We'll see if TCC can improve in year 2 of running the Spread.

As for Thomasville, Zach Grage is from the Propst coaching tree. When I say that, I mean he's already had a couple of scandals, as in sketchy player transfers and most recently, he has been accused of using IV therapy on players without a medical professional being present or without parental consent.
