Top scores are 1st half (but also shows the quarters)

Bottom scores are 2nd half (but also shows the quarters) and the reason you can't figure it out is because I cut n pasted and forgot to change the bottom from first to 2nd.

Trying to illustrate that scoring early will be key for Sooners but schools like Alabama and Georgia will get you in the 2nd half with defense. When TAMU did well with Manziel they did so getting out early and scoring often. Then hoping that was enough of a lead by the time the clock ran out to win the game. Without the trick play and fumble, UGA wins by 14 instead of OT. The early scores by OU would not have saved their arse without this.

My observation (and it is my observation) is that it will be that type of game. If Sooner's have 21 at the end of the 1st quarter then they hold on and hope that is enough to overcome the Tide wave over the last 2 quarters of the game.

If this does no happen, again my prediction, they may have 7 - 14 points by half and Alabama is tied or ahead at halftime. If this happens it will be a ball control game once the Tide are up by 21 or so and Saban runs to run clock. Unlike many, I think this is the game we see. This is the part of old school SEC football takes over when fans of non SEC schools never understand this type of play.

On that decade run of SEC MNC dominance you had all these high scoring teams play form all the conferences and they got limited to a TD or two the whole game. I think the Ducks got a 3rd vs Auburn but it was late "gift" type score. I think the same happened in that LSU vs OSU MNC where the score looked closer from a "gift" than the actual rest of the game.
