Looks like Tagliavoa came in Number Tua.

I know it's no W, but I'm glad UGA cost Tua the Heisman.

When you look at the overall body of work I think they got it right. Tua is unbelievable but KM doesn’t have the supporting staff.....put Hurts in all season and Bama is 13-0 most likely. Without KM OU is probably a 9 or 10 game winner.....

Exactly.
Murray was literally the difference in terms of wins and losses for Oklahoma while the only difference Tua made was running the score up. The difference between 3 TD wins and 5 TD wins. Murray was significantly more valuable to his team than Tua was to his.

It will be a win for us next year when we only have 1 QB to prepare for lol.

It isn't a MVP award. Not sure you were aware.

For us yeah. But as we know had Jalen been the starter and Tua came in in the second half the same thing happens. We aren’t good with handling two contrasting styles of QBs.

Hmmm.... let’s see what CFN.com says
Why Tua Tagovailoa Won’t Win The Heisman: Alabama won a national title with Jake Coker.
This team is so good, so talented, and so deep that it doesn’t take someone with otherworldly skills to win as the starting quarterback.
Yeah, Tagovailoa has been great, but so would you if you got to operate behind the nation’s best offensive line, and hand off to a deep stable of NFL running backs, and threw to next-level, blazing-fast receivers, And while you’re at it, let it fly, because the most talented defense in college football will clean up any mess.
But the big problem is the SEC Championship. As the line has gone, you shouldn’t punish a guy’s Heisman-caliber season for one bad game, but … yeah, that’s sort of the deal, especially when that one bad game is sort of a big one.
It’s like going to McDonald’s and not getting fries. It’s still amazing, but there’s a big, gaping hole on the resumé.
That was the biggest game of the college football season, and it might have been the real national championship – and Jalen Hurts won it.
Tagovailoa was hurt, but he picked the wrong time to hit just 40% of his throws for 164 yards with two interceptions.
Why Kyler Murray Will Win The Heisman: Baker Mayfield had the most efficient season in the history of college football last year, breaking his own mark for passer rating from his amazing 2016 season.
Also in the top 15 in all-time, single-season passer rating are Russell Wilson, Robert Griffin III, Jameis Winston, Cam Newton, Marcus Mariota, and Sam Bradford. Counting Mayfield – he’s in there twice – and six of the the 15 most efficient seasons ended with a Heisman, and one of the other guys ended up winning a Super Bowl.
And now, at least after the regular season, Murray holds the distinction of having the greatest single season by any quarterback in college football history with a passer rating of 205.7. Only one other player all-time is over 200, but let’s get to that in a moment.
Murray bombed away for 11.9 yards per attempt, he spread out his seven interceptions, and he hit 71% of his throws. He also ran for 892 yards and 11 touchdowns. Mayfield ran for 311 yards and five scores last year.
But beyond even all of that, from an MVP standpoint, who was more valuable than Murray?
The Oklahoma defense was a dumpster fire for most of the year. If Murray wasn’t close to perfect, the Sooners lose to West Virginia, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and likely even Army.
Instead, he always came through, avenged the loss to Texas – which he did everything possible on his end in the first showdown, with 304 passing yards, four touchdowns, and a breathtaking 92 rushing yards and a score – with a Big 12 Championship and a trip to the College Football Playoff.

The guidelines for the Heisman are specific. The most outstanding player in college football.
If the media wants to blur college football with every professional sport, then it is on them.
The heisman is the most outstanding player. The Archie griffin award is the most valuable player. There is a reason why the 2 different awards exist.

True but it has been perverted so I was basing everything on how the heisman is really chosen.
Under true heisman criteria Roquan could have an argument for why he should have won.
