Of course Bama fans are okay with ND getting it. Its because they know ND poses no threat.

ACC has more private schools and is more east coast which is Notre Dame's sweet spot.

In the B1G they would be in a mass of big state schools and get limited exposure in just the B1G footprint.

I sometimes read ndnation.com for a good dose of schadenfreude. If you think Alabama fans are obsessed with history and tradition, that’s just because you’ve never experienced ND fans. They make us look sane and forward-thinking. The reason they won’t join the B1G is because of some slight that they feel ND was given by the schools in that conference back in the 20’s or 30’s. They talk about it like it just happened yesterday even though it took place before 99.9% of their fanbase was born and everyone involved is now dead. It’s really pretty bizarre.
