Not surprising at all, and it's real simple. 1980 is *literally* the last thing AU fans have to hang onto to trump any kind of superiority over UGA on the football field. Once that disappears, they will have nothing. They will question their entire existence. Likewise, bama wins a title damn near every year so them winning another one is old hat at this point and not really any kind of surprise.

I bet you in 07/08 regular seasons when uga and bama played 90% of auburn fans were pulling for UGA.

Nah. We still have more (and more recent) Heisman winners. We can always fall back on that.
