beat the shite out of Texas, please. Show them no mercy. Everyone paying attention should know that the sips don't deserve to be there, so make them bleed.

Just in case this is getting missed:
Texas lost to 5-7 Maryland, 6-6 Oklahoma State, and WV at home. Beat 3-9 Tulsa, 5-7 K-State, 6-6 Baylor, 5-7 Texas Tech and 3-9 KU all by a TD or less.
They are only getting in the Sugar Bowl because the Big 12 is THAT bad, and the Sugar Bowl is contractually obligated to pick a Big 12 team.

I am fairly confident we would destroy Texas. Their defense has sucked the latter half of the season and a bunch of jump balls to the outside won’t work against our defense.

If OU wins, they're in the playoffs, and the Sugar selects a Big 12 team. I suppose the Sugar could select WV, but rumor has it that WV has been informed that it's going to be Texas due to Texas playing the the Big 12 championship game.

Nah- don’t think it would be easy. If our QB is healthy then I believe we can make it interesting with anybody (save Bama). Talent at every position though secondary has been decimated at parts of the year with injuries. With a few weeks rest I think we would have a shot against the Bulldogs, though would absolutely favor them. Plus Herman is great at playing up (and down) to competition- his record as an underdog is pretty impressive.
I think it would be an awesome game. Both fan bases are fairly similar and I believe NOLA would be rocking.
Side note- I’m loving the rant these days. All these aggy coming out of the woodwork following last weekend... Comedy gold.
