Who's going to replace him and be our big play weapon next year? Who will put fear in the opposition? When he was healthy and played last year we won, but when he was injured we lost.

Scott and Knox. I also think Thompson can be a dangerous deep threat

Arkansas transfer Jonathan Nance is my guess.

I don’t even think Nance could start for us
I don’t see him beating out Knox and Scott in ur 2

I’m not sure any wideout can replace his deep speed. Pretty sure he’ll run a 4.4. Maybe better.

Scott needs to gain weight and learn to get separation. He had a game where he played 60 snaps and didn't have a target.

Agreed. He definitely needs to get stronger. He can take a big step forward this offseason because he is a guy that has long strider speed and can stretch the defense much like Hall.
We need some length in the WR corps too because the rest of the guys that figure to be in the rotation are 6’0” or shorter. He provides that. That’s why I also look for Thompson to have a bigger role. He’s a bigger guy at 6’2” and about 200lbs

I guess freshmen Massey and Boone will have to show something to even get into the rotation.
Hopefully this kid brings something to the table with next year being his freshman redshirt year.

I’ve been waiting for Justin Smith to do something positive since he signed in 15.
I was hoping being a tall and big target receiver he would develop. Maybe he can bring something next year. I can’t remember his name even being called this year.

I would be suprised if either Boone or Massey are in the rotation next season. Here’s an early Guess on the depth
Starters: Floyd, Johnson, Knox
2nd: Scott, Nance, Gicinto
3rd: Thompson, Ofodile, Bannister

Smith was a flyer to gain a foothold in Georgia.

The basketball team could use him right now.

I wasn't impressed with his highlights coming out of high school.

Is say Boone has the best chance, but yeah it will be tough for either one.
Boone reminds me a lot of Scott actually. They both have that length and long stride speed. Both need to add significant strength.

Massey will be in the rotation.

Scott. He has the length, top end, and vertical that Knox doesn't have. I do think that both are going to make a lot of plays but once Scott refines his pre-snap read and hand technique, he has a better chance of taking the top off the defense.
