SEC wants to make it a rivalry.
The SEC wanted a presence in Texas. They didn't care who it was. They got A&M and Texas is finally starting to improve. This win gives A&M hype in the state.

Ah, so this is finally the year the SEC wanted to make this a rivalry? What was wrong with the previous 6 years?
