The irony is the Out Of Conference Scheduling is the only scheduling that your school controls.

What does good out of conference scheduling look like?

I see people proudly posting 1 quality opponent and three home only games.
These same posters probably pick on other teams OOC scheduling despite the similarities (1 marquee matchup per year).

SEC could say that only your divisional record counts, but you have to schedule 3 cross divisional games rotating home and away. Only one can be permanent. They would be considered OOC games and effect permanent record only.
