No it's not
Maybe if you factor in the off the field issue (buyout) it is.
This season, in isolation, is just boring and unsuccessful. It's not truly disastrous.
The problem is there isn't any light at the end of the tunnel, and while I'm not one who thinks Gus is going to lead us to anything worse than this, 2 more years of this sounds absolutely miserable.

For some reason I get you and Randy confused.

We’ve seen this play out at Auburn before though, yet we all act like it’s the worst disaster in Auburn football history when we fall well short of expectations. There is a reason Auburn has the perception that our best years are when people expect the least from us, because that is how it has always been.
Auburn still has a lot of young talent on this team. It’s not difficult to see a scenario where Auburn gets a Kelly Bryant at QB, the oline gels in their second year playing together, Boobie takes a huge step forward in his second season starting, and we exceed everyone’s expectations next year.
Sure I would like Auburn to find the next big time coach who can consistently win 10 games a year. But the number of coaches that can do that, especially in the SEC west with our schedule, is just pretty small imo. I think that’s just the reality of the situation.
And then I see names like Mike Gundy tossed out there for Auburn and I just laugh. You think Oklahoma State fans aren’t having the same conversation right now, about moving on from their coach who hasn’t won the conference in like 7 years and is staring down a 6-6 season?
