Want to experience what football is like in small town Arkansas? Players aren't as big, rosters aren't as big, for the most part players aren't as fast - but nowhere will you find games that mean more to the players and communities. The atmosphere is second to none.
Rison vs. Mayflower at Rison should be a good one.

Give me Rison all day

3A I think of Prescott, Smackover, Charleston, and Booneville as powers.
I know Rison was good back in the day, but I still consider them a 2A school in my mind.
The Prescott/Clinton game may be the best in 3A this week.

Bauxite coming to titletown on Friday night. Dis gonna be good. The game 2 weeks ago was probably one of the most hard fought games I've seen. Back and forth, defense making plays on both sides. The most successful team in SWA football history is virtually unstoppable at home in the playoffs. Go get it scrap!

Mountain Pine Des Arc is being played at Fountain Lake due to poor field conditions at MP. IMO they should have lost home field and had to play at DA as punishment for not keeping a good playing surface.

Mountain Pine is incredibly small and poor. It’s amazing they haven’t been consolidated with Jessieville or Fountain Lake.

Love PA, but they couldn’t touch NLR this year

Down 18-7 at the half NASHVILLE shuts down bauxite in the second half. Allowing only 75 total yards and outscoring Bauxite 34-0 in the second half.
Scrappers advance to the quarter finals, heading up North to Shiloh. Gonna be another tough one.
