Drake: 114 total touches
Chubb: 100 total touches

Drake: 610 total yards (rushing and receiving)
Chubb: 627 total yards

So yeah, if you just look at total yards, it looks similar, but Drake is doing it with literally an additional 14% of a sample size and trending down while Chubb is trending up after taking over the starting job.

And that's independent of OL/QB/Play Calling etc... Chubb's doing it for the Browns...

PS: Totally random, but looking at Drake's total yards per touch for each of the last three seasons and it's identical all three years down to 2 decimal places at 5.35... That's fricking weird.

Meanwhile, Chubb sitting at 6.3 yards per touch...

Yeah, this would be an example of numbers favoring one. If Drake looked better but Chubb put up those numbers, advantage Chubb. Since I haven't watched much of them in the NFL, and since I'm too lazy to research, I just took the numbers posted in the thread and made a philosophical point. Had I gone in blind, I would have assumed Chubb was better simply because he was clearly the superior college back when he was healthy.

Yards per touch is also misleading when so many of those for Drake are receptions. Obviously, yards per catch is going to be > yards per carry (well almost always).

Yards per carry, Chubb is averaging 1.6 yards more than Drake.
