Sinkwich joined the Military after his college career you shite for brains. He played in '41, '42, and '43.

Then he tried to join the military and failed the physical. This was after playing his junior year (1942) and senior year (1943). Then after 2 years in the NFL, he joined the military. What the frick? It's a miracle! His flat feet grew arches!! Hallelujah!!

Oh really?

Can you show me his stats from the 1943 season? I can't seem to find them...

Also, my quote came directly from the Heisman committee's website... maybe take it up with them?

Also, let's just throw out that he essentially went straight to the military after finishing up the 42 season...

quote:

Georgia’s 9-0 victory over UCLA was sloppy. Sinkwich missed nearly the whole game with injured ankles, but Georgia coach Wally Butts inserted him into the game during the Bulldogs’ only touchdown drive, and Sinkwich plunged in for a 1-yard TD.

After being discharged by the military, he was in the NFL in 1943... I understand numbers are hard for UF grads, but god damn...

So he was already in the Marines in April, discharged in September... minimum he was in the military for 5 months. We can likely assume it was longer than that based on the fact that he was awarded the Heisman while already in the Marines as well.

shite for brains indeed...

Hmm... discharged by the Marine Corps, re-attempts and joins the Air Force... almost like he figured he might not get approved through the same medical evals.

FYI, you should really stop while you're behind. You look like a buffoon. But by all means, it's fun for me.
