The men who played on those teams and later served when called on, some of whom gave their lives, do not deserve your disrespect. Football rivalries are fun, but being a dickhead about world war 2 heros is low, even for a gator.

Well I have obviously struck a nerve with you that I didn’t intend. I am not disparaging any vets who fought for our country. I am however pissing all over your program for keeping those guys back an extra year in your ROTC program. It’s ok, you can separate yourself from your team you support and realize your honor is still intact. It’s going to be ok.
