Jesus Christ.

LSU is at #7 and Bama just absolutely throttled us.

And we throttled Georgia and yet they'll come in at #5. Your point is?

For Sagarin, I think his computers have ND at #12. They won't be in the playoffs. I think LSU may have a better shot at getting in.

I will say if we win out it will be very interesting to see where we end up. There's a lot of football left to play.

Maybe, but with Miami, Auburn and Florida falling off the map, LSU's resume will basically be a win over Georgia, a bad loss to Florida and no conference title. And, I think you have to have Georgia lose to Alabama in the SECCG (because 1 loss Alabama is clearly ahead of LSU), and so that Georgia win gets devalued even more.

So LSU would have

Wins
11-2 Georgia
8-4 Mississippi State
7-5 Auburn
7-5 Miami
7-5 Texas A&M
6-6 Ole Miss

Loss
13-0 Alabama (by 30)
9-3 Florida

It's possible, but it's in the low single digits of probable. Georgia would probably have to lose to Auburn this weekend in addition to the SECCG, Notre Dame would have to lose to Syracuse and maybe USC too.

Even then, you'd have Alabama, Clemson and a combination of Michigan/OSU, Notre Dame and West Virginia/Oklahoma all with probably 1 loss.

My point is that Bama just buttfricked #7. Bama is so far ahead of everyone that it is ridiculous. They're in a class of their own.
