Is it possible to shop Freeman around and trade him? The only downside to that is I think he has to be a cut to get the financial money back, right?
We can't trade him AND still save salary cap $$$, can we?
I'd trade him for a 3rd and save $$$ but then again, I'd be ok cutting him as long as it saves cash.

There's a pretty cool site called Over the Cap that allows you to tinker with various scenarios and see what the hit on the cap would be.
Right now, the Falcons have $24,617,333 in cap room for 2019. If they simply cut Freeman, he would be a $9 million cap hit instead of a $6.75 million cap hit, and our cap space reduces to $22,367,333.
If we trade Freeman, it would be the same as above.
If we do the post-June 1 cut that I don't totally understand, he would only be a $3million cap hit in 2019 and our cap space would be $28,367,333.
