We haven't played anyone, really. Nobody better than 8-4/7-5ish. The laughable part is when someone then goes from that to the fact that it somehow means we really aren't that good.

You can argue there is a bit of an unknown with our offense. That's reasonable. However, you also have to acknowledge that against "bad teams" we've basically doubled everything that every other team has done against them. We aren't merely doing what other teams do to them, we've doing the same amount of damage in roughly 1 half or less. I think anyone with a brain has to admit that the "floor" for our offense is clearly pretty high.

I'm pretty sure we'll probably have season lows in passing and scoring Saturday. However, that means scoring less than 39 and having less than 516 yards of total offense. I'd be shocked if we scored less than 25 and had less than 400 yards of offense, and only the biggest LSU homer on earth could argue otherwise given their performances against the semi-balanced offenses they've played so far.

And our defense has been tested as much as anybody else in the league. They won't see anything the next 3 SEC games that they haven't already seen.

This is the point I've been emphasizing all along. Extrapolating that "Bama isn't very good" from "they've played nobody" is faulty logic. If the NE Patriots played Alabama's schedule does that mean they aren't that good? Of course not, but that's the logic many LSU fans seem to employ.
