This thread isn't about LSU. This thread is about a once proud program resorting to a gimmicky high school offense...the same type of offense they criticized Auburn for for years.
Do you not understand offensive football? This O is nothing like AU's or a HS offense. But envy, jealousy and fear blinds many fans. This is the best offense Bama has had and it's led by the offensive line.

Bama plays winning, mostly pro style football. Saban has adapted to the rule changes, something Miles would not do which cost him success and ultimately his job. Orgeron is doing the best he can with the personnel he has, but he can't take on most talented programs. They aren't close to a playoff program. But again I commend Coach O for doing what he can with what he's got. Let's hope he recruits the kind of players that will allow him to take advantage of the rules, if not he will never have an elite team like Alabama does.

Oh come the frick on.

What constitutes a "playoff program"?

Is Auburn a playoff program? Is Georgia? Florida?

Who else in the SEC besides Bama would you consider a "playoff program"?

I'm guessing by your standard it's a team that is highly likely to make the playoff every year. That would currently be Bama, Clemson and Ohio State and pretty much no one else. And after Saturday night it's highly debatable if Ohio State is still a playoff program.

I get it that Bama is the most elite team since the dawn of man. That doesn't mean a team like Georgia, Auburn, LSU or Florida isn't capable of having a few jailbreak years here and there.

In fact, some would say the strength of this conference is that we have six teams who are capable of doing exactly that (if 10erC hasn't been completely bombed back to the Stone Age).
