It seems like just yesterday Bama was playing real smash mouth, hat on a hat, shove it down your throat football. Not anymore. I'm not sure if it was the loss to Clemson, or the loss to Ohio State, or the losses to Ole Miss, or maybe the loss to Auburn, but Bama has sold out on big boy football and decided to run a gimmick offense.

I suppose Saban has subscribed to the "if you can't beat them, join them" philosophy. Bear Bryant is rolling over in his grave right now watching this high school offensive philosophy. It's sad to watch a once proud program resort to such gimmicks that often drew criticism from their own fans only a few short years ago.

Alabama is better than LSU in every rushing stat and metric.

Yards Per Game, Yards Per Rush, Rush Efficiency, Rushing TDs, etc

"The HUNH, fast paced offense is dangerous to player safety. Is this really what we want football to be?" Nick Saban (paraphrased)

I know it sucks we have resorted to beating teams by a margin of 38 points now... I have too much free time after halftime

Pretty sure they still play big boy football. They just have a qb that allows them to throw tds at an alarming rate and end a game before it even starts

Honestly, who gives a shite as to how a team get the ball into the EZ?
Idc if UF runs the damn Wing-T if theyre scoring 50+ a game.

Historically when I hear ppl say Gimmick offense, its translation for Offense our team cant stop.

It seems like just yesterday

Tell that to the Tennessee QB. Probably seems like Saturday to him.
