Scarnecchia will play this weekend.

He should have been playing more all along.

I agree that UT's pass defense is suspect but I can promise you, they are dead set on trying to establish the run this weekend. They have been stressing the running game and making tweaks to the running game during this entire off week break.

Special Teams is going to be big time critical aspect of the game this weekend ... we gotta win that portion in particular although the other two thirds are obviously important. Special Teams though, it'll set up the rest of our gameplan this weekend. They've been working on it like crazy. Win the battle of field position.

I hope your right. Not because I think one is better than the other, but you were getting pounced on in another thread. Your info was being questioned. Maybe this will put it to rest.

Did the cook at the Rice Shack give you this scoop?

I hope you’re right but I don’t know why you would be sure. Short of Jake being crippled it seems Muschamp will stick with Jake in spite of Jake’s inability to effectively manage the offense.

I saw in another thread you hinted at an assistant coach who would not be here next season. Have you already shared that or care to?

I was right about the running game ... 40 rushes to 16 pass attempts. They worked on the running game a ton during the off week and game week.

I was wrong about Scarnecchia and now I know practice time means nothing when it comes to him because he got 50% of the practice reps with the first team during the past two weeks ... all for naught. I the crew I was sitting with, we all thought for sure he was about to come in after the interception when he got up and started warming up. But he didn't.

You know, we knew they were likely going to start Williams over Rico. Couldn't be sure ... but look at how it fired up Rico. Amd listen, that was Coach Bentley's decision.

Let's say Scar started over Bentley just one game, to send a message. Surely his Dad would understand, right? Which now makes me believe this is all mUSChamp's and Werner's decision and we have to honor that from here on out and just go with it. Be prepared for slow starts. Problem is that we cannot keep getting down early and then fighting back ... it will not work against Ole Miss.
