Yep, agree on the FG fake and the general gameplan.
They got antsy and didn't trust themselves and their steady and efficient run game. Cheney has a history of doing that, too.

LSU was dropping 7 or 8 on basically every 2nd and 3rd down the entire game, and UGA kept throwing underneath and intermediate passes into the teeth of the coverage. It was one of the dumbest, most bizarre gameplans you will ever see. Very reminiscent of Sark's "QB sweep to the right x40" 2nd half plan against Clemson.
