Playoff Committee Nightmare (LSU, Bama, UF, Kentucky)

This scenario is obviously unlikely but would be very interesting to see what the committee chose to do if it were to happen.
For the purpose of the hypothetical:
Let’s say Florida wins the cocktail party and wins out, finishes 11-1
Let’s say Kentucky wins out, finishes 11-1
Let’s say LSU wins out, including a W over Bama, finishes 11-1
And finally, Bama finishes 11-1 with their only loss to LSU
LSU vs Kentucky would eliminate the loser in the SEC Championship
The other 3 playoff spots would likely be Ohio State, Clemson, and Notre Dame, leaving two 11-1 SEC teams out. But what if Notre Dame slipped up in a game somewhere?
Who would the committee choose if they had 11-1 Alabama (only loss to sec champion), 11-1 Florida (only loss to SEC runner up, beat sec champion and UGA), and 11-1 Notre Dame (SEC fatigue so put them in instead of a second sec team)

Depends what happens with Oregon and the Big 12. If Ohio State, Clemson, and LSU are taking up the other three spots, Bama is the SEC's only shot at a second team. If Oregon or anyone from the Big 12 is a one-loss conference champ, they're in.

I don’t trust any of the Big 12 teams except maybe Oklahoma. I guess they could potentially run the table. I think Texas loses again.
I think Oregon loses at Washington State this weekend. It would require some other factors falling into place but I think that Florida would have a better resume than Bama if it came down to that scenario, even though Bama has obviously looked much, much better to this point.

Nightmare scenario for them would be LSU wins out and bests bama in a super tight matchup like 17-16
Clemson and Ohio State drop a close game.
Notre Dame, Texas, Oklahoma and Oregon wins out.
Playoffs would be
1. LSU
2. Notre Dame
3. Bama
4. Clemson, Ohio State, Texas or Oregon
So you’d have 3 conference champions left out for a team that doesn’t play a conference championship game and Bama, who would be the most deserving.
Said it since Day one- the structure should be:
Play ins for your 5 power 5 conference winners and 3 at large selections. Add a 2nd bye week for everyone.
2 more teams will play 1 more game for a total of 16 games. The same amount as an NFL regular season.
Clemson and Ohio State drop a close game.
Notre Dame, Texas, Oklahoma and Oregon wins out.
Playoffs would be
1. LSU
2. Notre Dame
3. Bama
4. Clemson, Ohio State, Texas or Oregon

The way they’ve voted in the past, Bama would probably be out in this scenario because they aren’t conference champions. Even if they’ve looked the best, I think the committee would do more to try to go based on resume and not the eye test

If OU wins out(which they most likely will), then they are in, period

In this scenario they choose SEC champ. No doubt about it.

If Clemson and/or OSU win out they are in.
I'm not 100% sure OSU will though.

Good. If you can't win your conference, you don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

What? Literally it was only last year that Alabama got in without even having to play in the SEC championship game. They are the kings of backing into championships. Until further notice they are always a strong lock for a playoff spot until they lose 2 games in a season, which given how weak the middle and bottom of the SEC is in comparison to the top of the SEC, likely won't happen in a long time.

Neither one get in if Notre Dame, Clemson, Ohio State and Alabama or LSU wins out.

Bama.

Theres a big 12 Title game now.
1 and 2 seed go to it.
If OU wins out they will be no lower than the 2 seed and play Texas (if they win out, are the 1 seed) in the Big 12 Title game.
So if OU won out, it would mean the rest of the reg season and then the Big 12 Title game.

Not likely. That'd probably make their job easy.
1. Notre Dame
2. LSU
3. Ohio State
4. Clemson
*edit
Oklahoma and Texas can't both win out. I assumed that since you had Texas competing for the four spot, that's who you think would be the Big 12 champ.

You don’t trust any b12 team except Oklahoma, a team we totally dominated until we went into prevent defense for a quarter? You trust that team? Ok.

Hate to say it but they would have easily have played a superior schedule than Alabama. They would probably get in before any of the secondary SEC teams. Two SEC teams getting in would be toxic for ratings and frankly health of the sport. CFB needs representation from teams other than just from the southeast

God I can't wait until Bama snuffs out LSU's glimmer of hope. And everyone else's too.
