Likely? That sounds a bit presumptuous. Hell, Mike DuBose didn’t even pay every player or recruit. Doubt Self is paying everybody too.
I also doubt that Self would pay a recruit when it was obvious to everyone that Sexton already had his mind made up when he took the visit. A payment could have happened but it seems highly unlikely at this point.
Now Ferguson on the other hand... that seems much more likely to me.

The implication was that Self made an offer
Can't imagine coaches giving $50k+ before they had the recruit locked down

If I was a recruit committed and getting paid $0 and someone offered me $50k or $100k
Well, I'll just say that I'd at least reevaluate my options
