They just let Georgia Tech run the length of the field in under 2 minutes before the half. The drive had one pass for 9 yards and they left 16 seconds on the clock after the TD.

I gotta admit I thought Louisville was better than it is. Pass looked decent in game one. We’ll run for 600 yards against these guys and I’m not even sure I exaggerated enough.

I don't see how you can blame Bama for this. They broke Louisville worse than Bobby's complete inability to recruit lineman.
